My mom recently got her dog neutered.

Well his “lipstick” still pokes out whenever he gets excited. We assumed before that this happened because he was not neutered and were told that after he was neutered it wouldn’t happen anymore. But it still is. He was only neutered like a week ago though so I don’t know if it takes time?

Also, he is still humping EVERYTHING. Will his tendency to do this ever fade away?

Neutering is not the cure all people make it out to me. Mounting/humping is also out of dominance, not just the urge to mate. As for his junk slipping he’s relaxed. It may stop just like the humping and it may not. Welcome to the joys of owning a male dog.

ADD: he may still have residual testosterone in his system as well. You will just have to wait and see. For the humping, talk to a trainer or the old fix-it: a spray bottle filled with water.

I had a gastric bypass 7 years ago. I lost over 150 lbs. and kept it off! I feel great with the exception of a lot of extra skin around my abd., breasts, arms and rear. My ins. refuses to cover the surgery stating that it is “cosmetic” rather than “reconstructive”. They obviously did not look at the pictures of my disfigured mid section. I am looking for a Dr. or teachin hosp., who will be interested in doing pro bono, or reduced cost surgery. In exchange I would be willing to be photographed or video taped, before, during, and after. I am a designer at a printing co. and would put together promotional piece(s), printed and mailed to a list of bariatric patients in the area or accross the country, to showcase the work. I have encountered many people who NEED these surgeries to resume normal lives, patients who are interested in having their bodies refined as well. It could probably even be written of as an advertising expense. Please advise.

Have you appealed the decision?

If you haven’t start appealing now. Bug the heck out of them. Get documentation, see other doctors and get a letter from them to your insurance company.

I’m a lesbian and I’m pretty sure I’m what they call a “lipstick” but I’m not 100%. I have pretty girlie interests–I like shopping and watching romantic movies. I don’t wear makeup every day, but sometimes I like putting it on and trying new looks. I usually don’t do much with my hair, but I let others fix it up pretty. I’m also attracted to other girlie people… So does this mean I’m a lipstick lesbian?

If you want to call yourself a lipstick lesbian, go for it. I think the term is a Hollywood invention, to distinguish between butch gals who wouldn’t be caught dead in a skirt. But a lot of women are somewhere in between.
