Question by Em: Can you get a cosmetic”nose-job”while fixing a broken nose?
I want a nose job but don’t have $ 3-6,000. I do, however have medical insurance. If i broke my nose, (which medical insurance usually pays for) would I be able to have a cosmetic nose job done in the process of fixing it?
This is hypothetically speaking by the way. I know it’s a crazy idea and realistically I would never do it. It’s just that whenever I ask someone why/how they got their nose job, they say that they broke it and had it done while it was being reconstructed. Maybe they don’t want me to think that they were vain enough to have it done deliberately… I don’t know.

LOL Bad idea!
First off, you medical insurance won’t cover cosmetic surgery unless it’s reconstructive…and not on your nose.
If you break your nose, all that is required from the “highest standards of care” is that your nose functions…as in, you can still breath.
So, when you go running full speed into that wall to break your nose…remember that however bent it is as a result of your crazy actions….that’s how it’s going to be for a VERY long time.
On another matter, you might want to consult a psychologist.
You are proposing medical insurance fraud by the way! Which as it goes is a felony.
